Manson’s location makes it an excellent destination for all kinds of local activities and day trips. Park your car and spend the day walking to wineries, restaurants and shops or take the shuttle to the fun and night life of the nearby Mill Bay Casino. Top everything off with great live music at the Deep Water Amphitheatre, the Mountain View Summer Music Series, or a plethora of local venues. Then spend the night, or the week, at the warm and friendly Mountain View Lodge, one of our many private vacation rental homes, or the popular Wapato Point Resort.
Go out and explore the surrounding hills and trails by bike, snowmobile, snowshoe, snow or cross country ski, limo or adventure tour. Relax on the Lady of the Lake as she takes you deep into the magnificent Cascade Mountains to the community of Stehekin at the head of the lake. Or, among many other ideas, drive through the geologic wonders of eastern Washington to see the laser show on the Grand Coulee Dam, or to the “healing waters” of Soap Lake, or the breath taking remnant of what was once the largest waterfall known to have existed, Dry Falls. Mountain View Lodge has a year ‘round room service menu and “off-season” continental breakfast. And EVERYTHING ELSE is close! Park and walk, take the shuttle or hire a limo to many fine and casual dining opportunities in the town of Manson or nearby city of Chelan; we can give you great recommendations. Walk to shopping and gift stores. The grocery store is only 1 block away! (In addition, the Manson Scenic Loop boasts easy access to more than 16 wineries including Atam Winery which produces our Mountain View Lodge private label! Just a 3 block walk will find you at the Lake Chelan Brewery and a scenic 15 mile drive will find you at Blue Spirits Distillery.) Manson stuff???
TRANSPORTATION
The Mill Bay Casino shuttle stops at our front door and we can help you make arrangements for limousine and adventure vehicle services. For transportation on the water or into the hills boat, moped, bike, kayak, paddle board AND snowmobile rentals are all available, too!
FITNESS
We have lots of activity to get your calories burning! Our favorite True Fitness Gym is just a 2 block walk (or just across the concert field!). Of course, there is walking, hiking, biking, volleyball, swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, jogging and just about anything you can think of to do outdoors! You’ll have no excuse to get sloppy UNLESS you want to; it is your vacation after all.

Of course, it’s FREE! We have room for boats and snowmobiles, as well; call for details.

We did say family, right? For us, that means pets, too. But be sure to request a pet room though; your furry family member is only allowed in specific rooms. And, Fido or Daisy gets a gift upon arrival!

The Apple Blossom Home is a luxurious 4 bedroom 4 bath home located on Lake Chelan’s beautiful Wapato Point. The home sleeps 12 happy guests. We have a lovely view on waterfront property. Our home has been carefully taken care of since its construction in 1996.
Facts about Wapato Point Resort:
The point covers 116 acres of land, with a 1.4 mile waterline, on Lake Chelan.
Amenities include several outdoor pools, an indoor pool with hot tub and kitty pool,
miniature golf, a kiosk with summertime games and krafts for kids, various type of water crafts
tennis courts, and walking trails.
The town of Manson, outside of Wapato Point, has many exciting events taking place all

Camel House At Wapato Point
Enjoy all the amenities of Washington’s premier resort, Wapato Point, from this 3000 square foot executive vacation rental home. The home includes a home theatre with surround-sound and wide-screen TV, VCR and DVD players, and Bose stereo and CD player.
Camel House – a summer paradise.
The Camel House at Wapato Point is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in the resort of Wapato Point. (accommodates 12) There are two bedrooms on each level of this two-story home, and a large rec room downstairs can be closed off to provide a separate private sleeping area. An open floor plan includes a gourmet kitchen and the living room, dining room and kitchen on the main level. Guests have access to all the amenities of Wapato Point, including the swimming beaches, the indoor and outdoor pools, putt-putt golf and clubhouse access.
House Amenities:
The house is fully furnished with all supplies necessary for your stay, including beach towels, pool toys, books and games. There is a big-screen TV downstairs with theatre surround-sound, and a 37” TV upstairs, both with DVD players; a CD player with Bose sound system upstairs, and high-speed wireless internet available throughout the house. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with an extensive supply of pots and pans, service for twelve, serving dishes, toaster, blender, latte machine, coffee machine, and more. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds, and one has two twin beds. The couches in the living room and family room open out to queen-sized beds, and there are two rollaway beds available, as well as three thick sleeping mats. All linens are provided. The air conditioner keeps the temperature comfortable, and two hot-water heaters ensure a steady supply of hot water. There is a gas BBQ on the deck. The upper deck and the lower patio have outdoor furniture. The laundry room contains a full-sized washer and dryer. For the babies and toddlers there’s a crib, a playpen, and a high chair. Guests have full access to, and use of, the three-car garage.

There is a restaurant on site and other dining establishments nearby.
